Val’s Book Launch & Birthday Banquet

, an internationally renowned author, launched her new book Homecoming Girls, as well as celebrating her birthday, with an exotic canape & drinks reception, followed by dinner at Inspiration in .

The evening titled ‘Vals’ Book Launch & Birthday Banquet’ and was themed in chapters as several authors also be attended.

Born in West Yorkshire, Val moved to East Yorkshire when she was 13 and now lives in Beverley. Val’s first novel, The Hungry Tide, was the first winner of the Catherine Cookson Prize for fiction.

Homecoming Girls is her 16th novel to date. Neil & of Inspiration expressed what an honour it was to host this particular event.

Val will be in Beverley again this Saturday from midday at WH Smiths where she will be signing copies on here new book.
