Free Halloween Cooking & Art Activitie

Families in the area are being invited to take part in free themed family learning activities at Beverley High School on Wednesday, 27 October.

Beverley High School and the Extended Services Team will offer two family learning activities including Halloween baking and Halloween masks and decorations.

, extended services co-ordinator said: “These two hour activities give parents and children the opportunity to have lots of fun and learn together.

“For the Halloween baking activity families will bake buns, cookies and spooky treats and they will get to make their very own Halloween masks and decorations in the family art activity.

“Qualified family learning tutors will run the activities and all materials and use of equipment will be provided free.”

Sharon Japp head teacher at Beverley High School said:

“It is very important for the school to work with the wider community and provide opportunities to support learning and families in the local area.

“We have some great facilities at Beverley High School which are ideal for these family activities and we hope that parents and children enjoy learning new skills together.”

The family learning activities will take place on Wednesday, 27 October.  Halloween baking runs from 9.30 am -12.30 pm and Halloween masks from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Activities are open to children aged over seven. One adult needs to attend for a maximum of two children.
