Vicar of Beverley Minster Reverend Jeremy Fletcher held a talk this week at the Rose and Crown Pub in Beverley entitled Minster to Minster, full of interesting facts and anecdotes gathered during his time at Southwell Minster, York Minster and now Beverley Minster.
The event was attended by over 50 people. Organiser Martin Dooloan, who voluntarily manages the hospitality and conference facilities at Beverley Minster, said they could have sold the tickets ten times over.
Landlord of the Rose and Crown, Erol Celik, said “It is amazing that they came here to hold this event. For us to have the man who is in charge of the Beverley Minster in our building is a great honour. They were a lovely bunch of people and they are very welcome to return to use our venue anytime.”
