FREE Summer Activities at Beverley Leisure Centre

is hosting a summer of free activities for children aged eight to 19 years old, with a variety of sports sessions available.

Ultimate Frisbee will take place every Thursday, from 29 July until 2 September, from 1pm to 3pm, for eight to 16 year olds, on the field.

The game is a non-contact invasion sport based on American football and netball but using a Frisbee.

Football sessions will run every Tuesday, from 27 July until 31 August, from 1pm to 3pm, for 11 to 19 year olds, on the field.

The leisure complex will also be running a three-on-three urban competition from Wednesday, 4 August to Sunday, 8 August, from 1pm to 3.30pm, for 11 to 19 year olds, outdoors on the hard court.

There is no need to have a team, just turn up and play as teams will be decided on the day.

There will also be a skateboarding school on Monday, 9 August, from 1pm to 2.30pm, for beginners, and 2.30pm to 4pm, for more experienced participants.

The school is for 11 to 16 year olds and will take place on the hard court and skate park. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

The school will include structured coaching by qualified and experienced instructors with skateboards, pads and helmet provided.

All sessions are run by qualified coaches and all abilities are welcome.
