Local Charity competition ‘who wants to be an entrepreneur’ is well under way with its first task themed ‘The World Cup’.
On Saturday 29 May it held a market stall at Beverley Market, selling car flags, car magnets, England face paints and face painting for the kids, and adults!
The stall was a success, despite the rain, raising funds for the Young Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber charity.
The team who organised this event will go on to host another fundraiser, still in keeping with the World Cup theme. The Glitz and Glamour Charity Dinner, held at the KC Stadium on 10 July from 7pm. The aim of this event is to treat the ladies as a footballers other half.
The Dinner will include a drinks reception, 3 course summer meal, goody bag from House of Fraser, an auction of fantastic prises such as a Gym pass at the 24hr Gym, and helicopter experience!
That’s not all… throughout the evening there will be House of Fraser Professional giving make-up tips and touch-ups. Also, the evening will have a Disco and live entertainment, not to be missed!
