This Easter the virgers at Beverley Minster will be running extra tours in the roof to satisfy expected demand.
The tours, which include demonstrations of the largest working treadmill crane in Britain, take visitors inside the historic structure of the Minster and show how the building was constructed and maintained during the centuries.
Tours will be available throughout the day on Easter Saturday (3rd April) and Monday (5th March) starting at 10am. On Easter Monday there will also be refreshments, plant sales and bric-a-brac stalls available in the Parish Hall.
Roof tours cost £5 per adult, £2.50 for under 16s.
