Generous local businesses have provided a lot of support for the event by supplying prizes for a raffle.  Tickets will be available on Saturday.

Money raised from the evening will be shared between the proposed Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Castle Hill Hospital and the charity’s unit at St James’s Hospital in Leeds where David was treated.

Sylvia is hoping that local will join her family, friends and neighbours at the Beverley Leisure Centre on Saturday to raise as much money as possible for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sylvia is also organising a running event at the Leisure Centre on Wednesday 17 March which would have been David’s 21st birthday.  In the run up to Sport Relief those wanting to help raise funds for TCT can just turn up next Wednesday to donate money and run a mile round the field.  Raffle tickets will also be available.  The event starts at 6 pm.
