Panizzi Deli and Wine Bar, located just within the North Bar of Beverley offers a unique and atmospheric experience for all to enjoy. Indulge your’ senses in a sip of fine wine, savour the taste and allow yourself the belief for just a moment, that you have been whisked away to an intimate winery in the foothills of Tuscany, the rustic surroundings and authentic Italian food will not falter this illusion and hours could be lost simply relaxing, enjoying and savouring the momentary relief from the outdoor world offered by this ambient, comfortable and charming little place.
Now, as an innovative new addition to Panizzi’s weekly schedule, you can enjoy an eclectic range of entertainment on a Thursday evening. Start your weekend early and join Panizzi every Thursday for their ‘Panizzi Playlist’ night which encompasses performances from talented musicians, local talent and one-off entertainment nights such as the upcoming ‘Howard Mark’s’ evening on the 25th February where ‘Mr Nice’ will talk about his subsequent life as ‘The most sophisticated Drugs Baron of all time’ (The Daily Mirror).
This month will also see performances by JOHN COPLEY (http://www.myspace.com/jonathancopley) a talented acoustic singer/songwriter from Hull who’s making his appearance at Panizzi from 8pm on Thursday the 11th of February, VAL MARSHALL (http://www.myspace.com/valeriemarshall) an established singer/songwriter also from Hull who recently appeared live on Radio 2 with Bob Harris, her music has been described as ‘heart-warming’ and ‘hypnotizing’ and she will appear at Panizzi from 8pm on Thursday the 18th of February.
This exciting month will be brought to a triumphant conclusion with the already mentioned appearance by Howard Mark on the 25th of February, an evening that promises an intriguing mix of both insight and entertainment
Feel free to simply turn up to any of the evening’s taking place this month, Panizzi’s flavoursome menu, fine wines and great beers are available as normal and the mood is; relaxed. Bring a friend, bring a group or come on your own. I’m certain amongst the mix there will be something to suit your tastes and a great evening, with a bit of a difference, is guaranteed.
