Fire-Fighters on the ‘Pull’ in Beverley

Shamus Harrison a retained Fire-Fighter at Beverley Fire Station is in good spirits ahead of their fund raiser that will see Shamus and his colleges pull a 14 tonne appliance through the streets of Beverley.

This Saturday at 11.00 am they will set off from Beverley Fire Station, using two ropes the engine will be pulled by ten men at a time through the streets of Beverley collecting money for the Hati Disaster.

Not content with doing this gruelling challenge once, the Fire-Fighters will complete the course for a second time when they will be setting off once again from Beverley Fire Station again at 2.00 pm

Last time out the Fire-Fighters from Beverley Fire Station managed to get the engine around the town in just over two hours. They collected over £5,000 from members of the community which was donated to the Tsunami Appeal.

The route will be from New Walkergate (Fire Station) Setting off Twice @ 11am then 2pm
