Harp & Flute Concert Coming Soon to Beverley

A Guardian newspaper review of a recent concert featuring the duo stated that “Adam Walker and Sally Pryce were the young and phenomenally talented soloists in Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp, K299, exquisitely played and flawless in its perfection” (Barbican Mostly Mozart Festival with Academy of St Martin-in-the- Fields, July 2008.

Adam and Sally have been enthralling audiences at numerous festivals around the country since their first performances together at the British embassies in Paris and Madrid. Since then they have performed in venues across the country and abroad including the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall Manchester and St George’s Bristol.

They continue to enjoy a busy schedule of performances and are quickly creating a reputation as one of the finest flute and harp duos performing today.

In May 2007, Sally and Adam made their debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall performing Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto. 2008 saw their debuts with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in Portsmouth and Exeter, and with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields at the Barbican’s Mostly Mozart Festival, again performing Mozart’s concerto.

HILSE: Suite for Flute & Harp Op 6
ROSSINI: Andante con Variazione
DODGSON: Duo for Flute and Harp
PIAZZOLLA: Histoire du Tango (selection)
ALWYN: Naiades – Fantasy Sonata (1971)
