Confident Archibald Faces Selection Headache

’s injured scrum half Ian Archibald will face his first challenge as a coach on Saturday. Archibald who suffered a broken wrist back in October while playing Morely is well on the road to recovery with his temporary role expected to last until he himself is fit to play.

His first challenge will come from Goole a side that beat earlier in the season and Ian is the first to point out this will be no easy fixture for his side yet you sense he is confident that the team can get a result.

Ian told .net;

“We’ve had two good training sessions this week with plenty of numbers which has made selection a bit of a headache but I guess that’s a nice problem to have so I won’t complain.”

“Goole beat us earlier in the season so we are expecting a tough game and it will be nice to finally play some after six weeks without a game due to the weather. If we play some decent rugby I’ll be happy and hopefully the result will take care of itself.”

Beverley RUFC will face Goole at this Saturday kicking off at 2.15 and will be the first rugby played at the ground in six weeks.
