John Lock Memorial day fast approaching and for the first time we can reveal the trophies that will be awarded to the winning football team and winners of the pool competition.
To date organisers of the John Lock Memorial Day have already raised £900 and sold 200 hundred tickets to the evening event which will be held at Hodgsons in Beverley.
Ann & Dave Chilcott told HU17.net ‘We are very pleased at the response, we have some fantastic prizes for the auction and raffle. The local pubs in Beverley have been fantastic raising £350 between and many of them have also donated prizes too.’
The day will begin at 1.30 that will see Hodgsons FC, Mill Lane FC, Lord Nelson and Tickton/Grovehill all compete for the John Lock Memorial Cup. In the evening there is a pool competition, disco, karaoke, raffle and auction.
