Pop Connection in Beverley

Pop Connection Logo

Pop Connection provides primary schools with a unique opportunity to record their very own professional pop CD.  The project creates an exciting opportunity for schools to meet government requirements for community cohesion. It also gives every child in the school a positive and memorable experience that develops their musical and performance skills and increases their self- confidence

During October the Pop Connection team will be at School, Woodmansey Mile to spend an exciting week of rehearsal and recording, with 2 concerts planned together with the local Church on the 16th October. Parents, friends and relations will be invited to attend a vibrant performance of all the songs and purchase a copy of the CD.

“For many years we have built up a great relationship with the school and have used the facilities, not only for Sunday morning services, but also for youth activities and fundraising events. It’s great that we can build upon this partnership and now have the chance to give something back into the school and the children who attend. I look forward to what the week holds and hearing the great sounds these children will make.”
Ali Crompton, Youth Worker, Beverley Community Church

“Pop Connection is a fantastic opportunity to develop singing across the whole school and work in partnership with Beverley Community Church. It’s going to be very exciting!” Carol Tomkinson, Head Teacher, Keldmarsh Primary School

Tickets for the concert are available from Keldmarsh School priced £2
